After taking delivery of the car, the original owner had a custom targa top conversion carried out by Prefix Performance of Michigan, an engineering firm that had been involved in the production, development, and racing of the Dodge Viper up until the final 2017 model year.
Only two ACR Extreme Targas are said to have been created, and this particular example is the only one in the United States.
This Viper ACR Extreme features an 8.4L V10 engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and was generously optioned with Brembo Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes, and a Harman Kardon 18-speaker High-Performance Audio system as well as the Carbon Fiber, GTS Laguna Interior, and Extreme Aero packages. It was further modified by Prefix Performance with an American Racing Headers exhaust system and a Stage 1 engine tune.
